Authorship and Contribution Policy
- Authorship Criteria
To be listed as an author of a scientific paper, an individual must meet the following criteria:
- Has made a substantial contribution to the conception and design of the research, data collection, analysis, or interpretation of results,
- Has participated in drafting or critically revising the manuscript,
- Has approved the final version of the manuscript for publication,
- Takes responsibility for all aspects of the work, particularly regarding accuracy and integrity.
- Description of Author Contributions
Upon manuscript submission, each author must clearly specify their contribution in accordance with categories such as:
- Research concept and design,
- Data collection and processing,
- Statistical or laboratory analysis,
- Drafting of the manuscript,
- Critical revision and editing,
- Supervision or administrative support,
- Acquisition of funding.
- Co-authorship
All co-authors must be familiar with the content of the manuscript and agree to its publication. The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editorial office, coordination among co-authors, and ensuring that all authors are correctly listed.
- Prohibition of Ghost and Gift Authorship
Ghost authorship (uncredited contributors) and gift authorship (listing individuals without a real contribution) are strictly prohibited. Reporting such misconduct will result in rejection of the manuscript or retraction of the published article, as well as notification of the relevant institution.
- Changes in Authorship
Any changes in the list of authors after manuscript submission require written consent from all original and newly proposed authors, along with a justification approved by the Editor-in-Chief.
- Authorship Statement
Upon submission, authors are required to provide an Authorship and Contribution Statement signed by all authors, confirming that all listed authors have contributed in accordance with the stated criteria, and that all authors are aware of and consent to the submission and publication of the manuscript.
