Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism refers to the unauthorized use of another person’s intellectual work and presenting it as one’s own without proper attribution. This includes:

  • Copying text from other sources without proper referencing,
  • Translating and using content without permission and proper citation,
  • Paraphrasing others’ ideas without acknowledging the original author,
  • Self-plagiarism (re-publishing one’s previously published work without proper citation and permission).
  1. Journal Standards

The journal applies a zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of plagiarism. All manuscripts must represent original work that has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  1. Plagiarism Detection

All manuscripts are subject to mandatory plagiarism screening using specialized similarity detection software such as Turnitin. The acceptable level of similarity may vary depending on the nature of the manuscript.

  1. Procedure in Cases of Detected Plagiarism

If plagiarism is identified, authors will be notified with a detailed explanation and required corrections.

Author Responsibilities
Authors are required to ensure:

  • the originality of their work,
  • proper citation of all sources used,
  • use of external materials only with appropriate attribution.

Upon manuscript submission, authors must sign a Statement of Originality and Authorship Contribution confirming that the manuscript does not contain plagiarized content.

  1. Final Provisions

The journal adheres to the ethical guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and reserves the right to take appropriate measures in cases of violations of ethical standards.
