Abstract

Establishment of the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) in agricultural sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the institutional preconditions that must be fulfilled in the process of adjustment to the EU standards. Through the implementation of the standard FADN methodology, on a sample of 143 farms, grouped into six different groups according to the economic size, production, economic and financial indicators in 2011 were analysed. The following research methods were used, statistical, interviews, accounting, analytical, and calculation. The results of this research show that FADN methodology for monitoring of farm performances according to the economic size can successfully be applied in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Based on that, modern agricultural policy development can be achieved, which is the key characteristics of FADN implementation.
