APPENDIX ON THE INVASIVE FLORA OF BOSANSKA KRUPA
Keywords:
invasive species,, Bosanska Krupa,, alien species,, anthropogenic influenceAbstract
The research conducted in Bosanska Krupa aimed to identify and compare invasive flora species with existing lists in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) and Una-Sana Canton. This study categorized species using European standards, covering the urban area of Bosanska Krupa from May 2021 to June 2022. Utilizing relevant documentation and identification methods, 26 invasive flora species were identified, with the Poaceae and Asteraceae families having the highest representation. Among these species, those falling under category A3 in the FBiH invasive flora list included Ailanthus altissima (Mill.) Swingle, Amaranthus retroflexus L., Ambrosia artemisiifolia L., Erigeron annuus (L.) Desf, and Erigeron canadensis L. The study highlighted that human impact, particularly in coastal areas along the Una River near residential and catering facilities, significantly contributes to the suppression of native flora and the
proliferation of invasive and weedy species.
