The breeding of the Bosnian Arabian horse takes place on the basis of old lines of stallions and old mares that also have their origin in desert genetic material. As it has a high percentage of the blood of the original Arabian horses, it does not look much different from them. The appearance and exterior of the Bosnian Arabian horse has not changed since World War II.
